Where do you work?
University of Hohenheim, Germany
What is your main task?
I work as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Weed Science, Institute of Phytomedicine, University of Hohenheim, in the group of Prof. Dr. Roland Gerhards. My work focuses on research, teaching and project coordination in weed science
What is your main interest in weed research?
My main research interest is the development of mechanical and cultural weed control methods to support sustainable Integrated Weed Management approaches. My personal favorite topic is the non- chemical management of perennial weeds.
Which activities do you plan to promote to reach the objectives of the Working Group?
I would like to promote knowledge exchange between research and farming practice, especially by strengthening dialogue between researchers and farmers. I consider it particularly important to foster exchange among different researchers and their groups, in order to jointly advance research, identify new research opportunities and initiate collaborative projects.
